Not a good month, but not so bad as the previous one. The market hasn’t decided the direction and current services find it difficult to profit from it. At least the losses are controlled (in most of the cases).
Monthly Passive Income Statement: Jun 2021
I keep using the same formula from the last month, measuring the service value when the month closes and compare the result with the previous month:
I had to include some new columns because I have some withdraws that I’ll comment on in the portfolio section. But it is becoming a mess. Until I have something better, you can find the spreadsheet here.
Most of the losses from this month are from services that I’ve been trying to disconnect since last month.
I have decided to reduce my portfolio significatively, leaving those that have performed well during a long track. I have also removed my initial investment from Algo Scalping (and plan to do the same from Easy Scalper) and play only with the profits they have generated so far. Besides removing my initial investment (so my risk will be 0 now with these services), I’m withdrawing my profits and planning to allocate those profits to other services. I’ll see if this is a good decision in the following months.
I have taken a quick look at the services that I stopped following, and I think it has been a good decision because most of them had significant losses.
Only Medallion Spartan guys could end the account in profit (comparing it with the previous month’s value). However, they have started to hold some losses, something they haven’t done so far.
I don’t find anything in the marketplace that I feel like trying,
there are several new services with fantastic results, but we’ll have to see how they perform after a few months and with more capital. So, for now, I’ll stick to what I have, and I’ll try to get rid of the ones holding losses for months.
This was written a week ago, but I didn’t have time to publish the article. In the meantime, we have discovered that the services with such excellent results were playing the system. We have suspended the services and will implement measurements to avoid this from happening again.
There isn’t too much to add here. Just mentioning the importance of adding a more rigorous validation process for listing new services.
